« on: February 04, 2015, 02:29:01 PM »
because of power failure my blockchain has been compromised, so i downloaded the new one, but it fail with:
************************
EXCEPTION: 11DbException
Db::open: Invalid argument
C:\moneta virtuale\Huntercoin\huntercoind.exe in AppInit()

with an empty wallet it has worked, but using my previous wallet didn't worked, maybe this can help?

Not sure, but reading that the error occurs during the wallet loading seems to indicate that the wallet (and not the chain download) is the problem.  Maybe the power failure corrupted the wallet as well?

yes i found it being a wallet problem as i updated info on bitcointalk.
After downloading last chain, i've done the initial blockchain sync without any wallet to speed up thing (because if you sync with a wallet with lot of tx it's sooooo slow) and it worked, just after using my wallet is screwed up so yes, it's a wallet issue and i'm trying to understand how can i recover my addresses from the corrupted wallet
I'm doing a C# utility to read all keys from the wallet.dat but i've problem obtaining the address/private key, i'll open another post for that, so if you are kind to reply and explain me some detail maybe i can find a way to "recover" a wallet and generate a new one and include that feature in my client

you can use pywallet to extract the keys. you need to select some correct base number thing - but i've nevr done it.

this will allow extraction of all keys frorm the file

srry just seen other post
